On school closures / inclement weather delays / teacher in-service days, during the school year, Moppets is open to help in providing a safe, supportive and fun place for your elementary age child. Along with homework assistance, children are provided with a variety of learning experiences, such as outdoor play, dramatic play and art and sciences. Learning continues at Moppets through play and peer interactions, as well as, structured fun activities.
Moppets teachers encourage creative thinking, problem-solving skills and help with developing confidence and leadership skills your kiddo needs in order to succeed in school and in life.
Before & After School Care

Moppets is a pick-up and drop-off site for the Towanda School District, thus enabling us to offer a smooth transition and safe environment for your child. Your kiddo will enjoy a more informal environment compared to their daily classrooms.
Learning continues through fun and play although Moppets teachers are there to assist with homework help, problem-solving and during free time, as well.
Healthy breakfasts and after school snacks are provided and are crucial in keeping your kiddo focused, energized and positive throughout the day.
Social bonds are an important part of your child’s development and are developed through activities and play. Children build relationships by playing with their peers. They learn how to share, take turns, develop empathy for others, and be kind to each other.
